Thank you for being genuine—I came across your “Enter In” compilation the other day. What a breath of fresh air.
Some encouragement—stay focused and rooted. There are so many distractions—but that God time, the time you spend getting alone with God and bringing a piece of heaven to earth, is crucial. Thank you for being obedient and “living worship” as you put it.

Hi Matt! My husband Steve and I are members at Immanuel here in Wichita. We loved your music when you led worship one Sunday night several months ago. What a tremendous talent and I’m thanking God that you give it back to HIM through worship and living a Godly life! God Bless you and your Family!
Your Dad is cool, but your Mom, Patti, she’s precious to me. I love her very much and pray for you all as a family in my morning prayers. I found you on twitter and will be following you.
Love and Blessings,
Stephen and Patricia Mayer
Stephen and Patricia,

Kamara, I’m glad you found the blog and so glad it has made it’s way to Nigeria. I pray these thoughts help solidify the role of Biblical worship in your context. I would love to hear what you are doing if you have music recorded. God bless you. Matt
Thank you very much for the encouragement matt. You can listen to some of our songs on this link http://www.myspace.com/threadstonerox or on youtube/threadstonerox. Blessings kamara
Saw JR Vassar’s RT about your album coming next week so I went to iTunes and just heard Vintage for the first time tonight. Great stuff! Thanks for doing that album. Looking forward to your next one.

I was fortunate enough to get to meet this January at Intersect at the Great Wolf Lodge. Since I’m sure I wasn’t the only person you met, I’m a freshman at TCU and am so passionate about our God and I just live to serve Him. After getting to worship with you and hearing Afshin’s message I’ve just been so compelled to share the Word with as many people as I can. Here at TCU we unfortunately are not a Christian campus. I see so many people that just need to hear His message and I WILL help to change that before I leave. Although there are many who have not accepted Christ there are those of us who have. Unfortunately we are few and scattered. I was challenged by a friend and a fellow follower of Christ to try and take these “pockets” of believers and bring us all together to strengthen the body, just like Jesus commanded in Matthew. I am trying to organize an event to be held here on campus to not only bring together the “pockets” of believers we have here but also share His love with as many as I can. I was wondering if you would be interested in helping me by possibly coming and leading a worship. I love your music and I believe the message in it is beautiful. If you are interested please feel free to email me at andrew.huffaker@tcu.edu.
With Blessings
Andrew

I really appreciate your CD Gravity & Gladness. I received a copy from WORD and was asked to post a review. I’ll post it in the next couple of weeks on my blog. Blessings on your journey!
I made a video for Matt’s song “Jesus Died My Soul To Save”. Here is the YouTube link:

Hi Matt,
I just learned of your music today and got Gravity and Gladness. Good stuff. I’m the music guy at Fort Worth PCA down in southwest Fort Worth. Maybe we will cross paths sometime.

Matt, hey what are the words to the second verse “Come thou Fount” in your version? I can’t figure out what you are saying the first line.
Thanks! Love the version!
